    CREDENTIALS

    Credentials are titles you earn for completing a course and successfully passing its associated exam.

    CERTIFICATIONS

    Certification is a validation of  an individual's skills.  Certification is awarded to individuals that successfully complete both 3Com Design Professional (3DP) and 3Com Installation and Administration Professional (3IAP) credentials for a specific product or product family.                           


    3Com Credential Program

    Global Education and Training offers three credentials that meet the needs of sales, presales technical, and post-sales technical individuals. These are the 3Com Sales Professional (3SP), 3Com Design Professional (3DP), and 3Com Installation and Administration Professional (3IAP) respectively.

    3Com credentials are awarded after successfully passing an exam and must be updated within six months of the release of a new exam.

    3Com Certification Program

    Global Education and Training believes that individuals that successfully demonstrate pre-sales technical and post-sales technical skills by completing the 3Com Design Professional (3DP) and 3Com Installation and Administration Professional (3IAP) credentials for a specific product or product family should be recognized for their achievement. Global Education and Training awards these select individuals with 3Com Solutions Architect Certification (3SA).

    Individuals must enroll in the Solutions Architect Training Plan of their choice, through the Learning Center links on the left, or through the Quicklinks Digest page, to have their Design Professional (3DP) and Installation and Administration Professional (3IAP) credentials count towards certification.
